This dataset is an example use case of data rescue from the article 'Wizenberg, S. B., Newburn, L. R., Richardson, R. T., Pepinelli, M., Conflitti, I. M., Moubony, M., Borges, D., Guarna, M. M., Guzman‐Novoa, E., Foster, L. J., & Zayed, A. (2023). Environmental metagenetics unveil novel plant‐pollinator interactions. In Ecology and Evolution (Vol. 13, Issue 11). Wiley. https://doi.org/10.1002/ece3.10645'. Sample metadata and amplicon sequence variants, which were not directly accessible from the original article, were provided by the lead author. To protect the privacy of beekeepers and the exact locations of their apiaries, the original sampling sites coordinates were restricted. Instead, geo-coordinates were derived by drawing a circular area on the map, centered on the centroid of the municipality for each site.
