Taxa occurrence (presence/absence) and composition of benthic macroinvertebrates from trawl surveys (2003-2017) conducted on Lake Victoria, Uganda

The trawl surveys have been undertaken on Lake Victoria, Uganda.

Trawl surveys on Lake Victoria, Uganda are conducted in several transects. Ponar grab samples for benthic macro-invertebrates are taken at the end or beginning of each transect, presented by coordinates in the dataset. Three hauls of sediment are taken by the Ponar grab sampler of 238 cm2 at each sampling point and combined to make a composite sample.
