    Description

    The Purdue Entomological Research Collection is a research collection of 1.3 million insect and other arthropod specimens; it is the largest and most significant collection of Indiana arthropods. Includes the entomological collection of Willis Stanley Blatchley (1859–1940); these specimens are largely from Indiana and Florida. The mayfly (Ephemeroptera) holdings are worldwide in scope and are globally significant.
