Macroalgae from Rocky reefs of Yucatan

These data represent the macroalgal composition of five reefs from the Yucatan offshore: Bajos de Diez, Sisal; Progreso; Chicxulub, Telchac and Dzilam,. Sampling was conducted using self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (SCUBA) in wo different seasons (Dry and Rainy) except for Bajos de Diez that could be collected only for dry season. All samples obtained were identified to the lowest possible taxonomic level and added to the Algae section of the Herbarium of the University Autonomous of Yucatan (UADY)
